My SpongeBob nightshirt, made by my mother-in-law on Saturday morning. I think it took her all of five minutes or something.Posted by Hello

Looking good! Glad to hear that all went well at IUPUI. Those staples are a real PITA, especially when they are healing and start itching. I'll be in Indy tomorrow and under the knife on Wednesday. I'm going to have to get a night shirt too, probably not SpongeBob, but maybe Darth Vader or something.

Here's what a dermatology nurse told me after my surgery. Minimize scarring by keeping scabs soft with Bacitracin ointment. Once the scabs are healed & gone, if you want to improve the appearance of your scars, try Mederma. Vitamin E, despite its reputation, is actually irritating, she said. When you're outside, don't forget to use sunscreen!
